Hi, I’m Nguyen Thanh Hung

I’m a developer focused on AI engineering and backend developement.

I enjoy building practical software, understanding how systems work, and using AI to solve real problems. This blog is where I document what I learn while builduing projects - the decisions I make, the problems I run into and the solutions that work.

What I Work On

My main areas of interest include:

  • Backend development
  • AI engineering
  • APIs and distributed systems
  • Databases and data processing
  • Cloud infrastructure and deployment
  • Software architecture

I’m espically interested in how AI systems fit into real software products - not just AI model itself, but also the APIs, databases, infrastructure, and backend systems around it.

Why I Started This Blog

I started this blog mainly to document what I learn.

When I encounter an interesting problem, make an engineering decision, or learn something useful while building a project, I want to write it down.

The goal ius simple: share practical knowledge from actual development work.

I don;t indent to make every post a complete tutorial. Some posts may explain a problem, the approach that I took, what worked, what didn’t, and what I learned from it.

Current Goals

I’m currently focused on:

  1. Building agentic AI systems
  2. Strengthening my backend engineering fundamentals
  3. Building more reliable and efficient systems

I learn mostly building projects, running into problems, and figuring out why things work or why they don’t.

Beyond Coding

When I’m not coding, I enjoy reading history, playing sports, hiking, swimming.
